We are proud to announce that John, aka Bauman Jr., from Grade 7B, has achieved remarkable success in the 2023-2024 Patriot's Pen essay contest, organized by The Veterans of Foreign Wars!
John has been named the national second-place winner and recipient of a $4,000 award for his outstanding essay based on this year’s theme, “How Are You Inspired by America?” Representing the VFW Department of Pacific Areas, John competed against 55,800 participants.
