Students in Grade 3 ESL focused on problems and solutions throughout the semester. They looked at which solutions would be effective and which would not. They worked together to solve problems such as building a bridge with a limited number of blocks. They competed in their spelling and homework assignments. They were able to build upon previous vocabulary by playing games such as Anomia which built confidence in their English language skills.
