With the increased exposure to the Influenza virus, ACIS encourages parents to be aware of the signs and symptoms of this disease and to take appropriate actions.
If the situation of spreading is identified within our school, we are committed to strictly adhering to the established school policies and procedures as follows:
If 10 % of the students in a class are infected with the influenza virus, the classroom will be closed for 1-2 days.
If the disease occurs in multiple classrooms, the School Director will consider closing the classroom to prevent further spreading.
Clean the premises to eliminate disease transmission areas, including restrooms, swimming pools, kitchens and the cafeteria, using detergent or soap followed by chlorine-based bleach for approximately 10 minutes. Then rinse/ wipe /soak with clean water to prevent chemical residue.
Clean children’s toys and equipment by scrubbing and then sun-drying.
Cease air-conditioning and open curtains to allow ample sunlight to enter.
