Sports at ACIS
Americana Chinese International School (ACIS) aims to create a well-rounded and fulfilling educational experience. We understand the importance of physical activity and teamwork, which is why we offer a diverse range of sports opportunities for our students.

Our sports program includes basketball, futsal, swimming, volleyball, badminton, and soccer. These sports are fun, engaging and foster valuable skills such as discipline, leadership, and sportsmanship. We believe participating in sports helps students develop a strong sense of camaraderie and resilience, attributes that extend far beyond the playing field.
Unleashing
The Phoenix Flames
Under the banner of "Phoenix Flames", our talented sports teams represent ACIS with pride and passion. Whether competing in basketball, swimming, volleyball, or soccer, our Phoenix Flames demonstrate determination and dedication, striving to bring glory to our school in every match and tournament.
Our students have the opportunity to compete against other schools, providing them with the chance to showcase their skills and teamwork on a broader stage. These inter-school competitions enhance their sporting abilities and teach them valuable life lessons about perseverance and embracing challenges.
At ACIS, we firmly believe in the power of sports to nurture both physical and mental well-being. Through our comprehensive sports program and the unwavering support of our coaches and teachers, we aim to instill in our students a lifelong love for sports and a commitment to leading a healthy, balanced lifestyle.
Enter Chiang Mai
Athletics Conference
Our school regularly participates in the Chiang Mai Athletics Conference (CMAC). The purpose of CMAC is to provide a well-rounded program of interscholastic athletic competition for member schools. CMAC seeks to provide rules and regulations that will achieve recognized educational objectives, promote the traditions of international sportsmanship and provide an enjoyable program for all participants, spectators, and supporters.
Any student G1 and up is eligible to join CMAC teams at ACIS. ALL CMAC teams are free to join, but students must have all proper required equipment for the sport they choose in order to play in matches. Students may join more than one sport in the season, but must be able to make at least 1 practice for each sport to be eligible to play. Student athletes must maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA during their sports season.

At Americana Chinese International School, sports and academics merge to create a holistic educational journey, empowering our students on and off the field.
